I find myself settled at my desk, looking at a stack of new books and talking to myself. Hmmm? So, could I interest any of you in a comment on the current Presidential campaigns? Or, should I ask, "Is there anyone under 35 who cares, really?" Do most of us assume our life and our "persuit of happiness" can go on forever? Do we assume that there will always be fuel to allow us to drive our car? Do we have faith in our American power and influence so much so that we feel there will never be another nuclear bomb? What do you think? Would you like to read an informative book about any of the above?
Suggestions: The End of America : a citizen's call to action by Naomi Wolf; Over a Barrel : the costs of U.S. Foreign oil dependence by John S. Duffield; Deception Pakistan, the United States, and the Secret Trade in Nuclear Weapons by Adrian Levy & Catherine Scott-Clark;

Hmmm, some interesting suggestions. Also, I wasn't aware untill now that the library had a blog.
Those are interesting comments to think about. I will have to look into those books some time. I didn't know the library had a blog either until now. I was doing an assignment for my Achieving College Success course.
This library class has been amazing my name is brian luppen
This is really a big headache!!
By the way, I never told you my name. I'm Rochelle Hildwein.
So I read the comments that I'm commenting on right now and I have never really thought about those. I guess I just get up everyday expecting freedom and never a nuclear bomb because we were brought up to know that America is safe but in todays society it really isn't. Never knew there was a blog for the library but I learn alot in college success!!!!
Hi Angel, they told you about this site in that course? I kinda just stumbled across it. Do you like to read, if so do you know of any good books?
