Fishing?
The wind is still blowing out, or maybe it is blowing again. Whatever, the wind seems to blow a lot here. It is a condition that keeps me inside and so I am browsing through some of the books that recently arrived. The end of the line by Charles Clover should inform me about the overfishing of our waters and how that has changed the world and what we eat. I ask myself, "really, is it the bad?"

Wow!
The wind howled outside and I knew my lab waited at home, but the longer I stayed, the longer I could avoid facing the wind's fury. I pulled the cart of books closer to me, and looked at the shipment that the library had received. Some of the titles were very intriguing, for example: Stealing your life by Frank Abagnale about identity theft; Beyond the body farm by Dr. Bill Bass & Jon Jefferson; (Dr. Jefferson is a legendary bone detective who works in forensic science); What in the world are your kids doing online? by Barbara Melton & Susan Shankle; Educating the net generation by Bob Pletka and one on the global climate change, The suicidal Planet by Hillman, Fawcett & Rajan. There were more! I checked one out by a psychiatrist who, according to the dust jacket, spent more than ten years helping a patient with 17 personalities. The title was Switching time by Richard Baer. (Sometimes I think my Lab has several personalities). Wow - 17.
I put the cart of books out to be shelved, then I wrapped my coat around me, picked up the book, and faced the wind toward home and my lab.
